First and most important, we absolutely guarantee live delivery and your complete satisfaction, but you must follow the directions in the Instructions Tab if you wish to return your Kit.
 
In addition to the items provided with the Basic Worm Factory, our Worm Factory Kit provides an established tray of composting worms in approxamitly 10 lbs. of our premium bedding that is specially formulated to retain moisture and provide the worms a comfortable journey during shipping. You will find approximately 600 to 1000 adult worms, hundreds of Juveniles and untold numbers of cocoons (well actually they can be counted, and there are usually 2 or 3 per cubic inch). Our blend of worms consists of:
  • Eisenia Andrei (AKA: Red Tiger Worm)
  • Eisenia Fetida (AKA: Red Wiggler, Tiger or Manure Worm)
  • Lumbricus Rubellus (AKA: Red Marsh Worm)
  • For you fishermen, a small percentage (around 5%) of Dendrobaena Veneta (European Night Crawler) and Lumbricus Terrestris (AKA: Dew-worm, Night crawler or Angleworm) are thrown in the mix. If you are not going to use these worms for fishing, then, as they mature and become quite large in comparison to the others, remove them from the trays and put them in your garden or flower beds. Otherwise they will eventually become unhappy and try to "leave the building..."
