Online ordering enables you to order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Processing time for internet orders can vary:

On the average, we ship (Monday through Friday) in-stock items within 2 business days of receiving your order.

In the busy seasons, (March through May and September through October) orders may be delayed by a few additional days (in such case, we would let you know).

Live Shipments orders - received before 5PM on a Friday - are typically shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.

For commercial growers, upon request, we will always do our best to rush your order if your crop is in dire need of one of our pest controls or other critical products. Please expect 2 to 6 working days for travel time when shipping via Ground. See Shipping.
Our online ordering system uses "cookies" to serve you better.
 
When visiting our web site in the future, the information needed for ordering from Everwood Farm (like your mailing and shipping address but not payment information) will automatically come up if you place an order. However, if you were to try to order from us from a different computer, this information would not be available and would have to be retyped. The information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared, sold or rented to anyone.
 
Be aware that a possible security risk with cookies exists when placing an order over a computer installed in a public place. For example, if you go to your local cyber café and decide to place an order over the Internet on our web site, the next person using the same machine and visiting our web site could access your name, address and email information if they decide to also place an order.
 
What is a cookie? A cookie is simply data stored by a web site on your computer, which the web site then has access to when you visit that web site. In our case, we store an anonymous ID number that allows us to look up information you have previously filled out in a form on our website (e.g. your name, address, and email address). We have been in business since 1989. We work hard to ensure that our prices, selection and information are the best anywhere and we really look forward to serving you. However, should you happen to find better prices, products or assistance elsewhere, please let us know - see our Contact page - as we continually review customer comments in order to provide you with unequaled service. In the event you come across any price lower than ours, simply give us a call, mail or fax us a receipt or an ad or simply tell us where you found it, and we will gladly match or beat the price or refund you the difference. This offer applies to prices on identical models and/or service (excluding misprints, liquidation sales, floor display or returned model sales) within 30 days of your purchase.
If some items on your order are temporarily out-of-stock, we may hold your order for up to 2-3 working days until the missing item(s) becomes available. If you cannot wait at all, please tell us so in the Comments field. In the event we experience a longer delay, we will follow the instructions you gave us during the check-out process:

ship what is available and the back-ordered item(s) later (shipping charges will likely be higher in such a case) or

wait until everything is in stock (in such a case, we would contact you with an expected delivery date) or

simply cancel the back-ordered item(s).
Unless you have a net-term account with us, for internet purchases, we only accept PayPal. Sorry, no C.O.D.'s.
Although we do our best to hold prices steady  throughout the year, all prices are subject to change without notice. We will notify you of any significant price increase prior to shipping.

If any item proves unsatisfactory within 7 days of the date of delivery, you can return it for a full refund, subject to the merchandise being in resalable condition in its original packaging. Please call us at (503) 390-2637 for a Return Merchandise Authorization. Use the return form included with your shipment and send the product back to us, securely wrapped, freight prepaid and insured against loss or damage.
 
Please note that special orders, custom seed mixes, live plants (i.e. flower bulbs, trees, onions, garlic, potatoes...etc.) and Live Shipments are non-refundable – or may have a Restocking Fee - unless there is an obvious quality problem upon delivery (you must call us immediately first if this occurs).
 
For defective products still under manufacturer's warranty, please call us first at (503) 390-2637, as we may request you to ship the item directly back to the manufacturer.

Everwood Farm is not licensed to provide pesticide recommendations. Consequently, no recommendation concerning the use of pesticides are made on any orders, whatsoever.
Everwood Farm does not assure the conformity of any products to the organic standards of any certifying agencies.
 
Never-the-less, all fertilizers and ammendments  are, to the best of our knowledge, "All Natural" and/or "Organic" (unless otherwise noted). Please note that we have also identified materials which are WSDA, OMRI and Oregon TILTH listed and/or that meet the USDA National Organic Program (NOP), as of January 2002.
All prices are subject to change without notice, although we do our best to hold them through the year. We will notify you of any significant price increase prior to shipping.
Live Shipments: Beneficial Insects, Nematodes, Live Worms and VermiPods
For delivery of Live Shipments, viability can only be guaranteed if someone is available in person to accept and inspect the Live Shipment immediately upon delivery. If the delivery driver is instructed to leave package in a cool, safe place for a short period of time, viability should not be compromised but cannot be guaranteed. If no one is available and no instructions have been left, delivery may be re-attempted the next business day. Viability may be compromised and will not be guaranteed. Based on the above, the best address to use is often a work address. If you suspect viability problems you must contact us upon receipt, on the day of delivery, or within 48 hours for live worms, for a replacement or return.
Receipt of Truck Orders, UPS and FedEx
On truck shipments, do not sign for your order until you have confirmed a count of all items: boxes, bags, rolls, bundles, pails, etc… and have checked very carefully for apparent and/or concealed damage. We will not accept any responsibility for missing and/or damaged items unless you note a count discrepancy and/or identify damage on the bill of lading at the time of delivery!
 
On UPS and FedEx shipments, if there is noticeable damage upon receipt of your order and you are signing for it, be sure to note the damage with the driver. If UPS or FedEx has left the package at your house, or you later find concealed damage in your package, we may still file a claim with them. Please call us immediately upon receipt of your shipment if there are any problems.
