Target: Various thrips species. Hatching eggs and the first larval stage. A.cucumeris may also have some effect on other pest mites, f.e. strawberry mite, Cyclamen and Broad mites. Optimum temperature range is 66-80°F with humidity between 65%-75%.
Introduction: For a well-run and successful control program use these units for prevention. Sachets contain approximately 1,000 mites each with a food supply and will continue to produce A.cucumeris for 4 to 5 weeks.
Blulk Release Rates prior to using Sachets: For best results, apply an initial bulk application to populate plants. Install a breeding colony (Sachet) of mites onto the plant before the target pest is present.
Environmental conditions: Performance will improve with relative humidity above 75% and the temperature above 20°C/68°F for some hours of the day.
